Masterful Coaching and Stellar Performances Highlight Opening Victory

The Nouvel 5th grade football team made an emphatic statement in their first game of the season, delivering a 54-0 blowout win over RCL Construction. Under the leadership of head coach Jason Kiss, the team executed a perfectly orchestrated game plan, relying on an I-formation ground attack that left their opponents unable to respond.

On the offensive side of the ball, #10 Mark Mitchell and #5 Nathaniel Sorie were unstoppable. Both players found the end zone multiple times, with Mitchell using his powerful running style to break through tackles and Sorie dazzling with his speed. The offensive line paved the way with stellar blocking, allowing the team to control the clock and dominate possession.

Defensively, the Nouvel squad delivered a perfect performance, holding RCL Construction scoreless. The defensive front consistently pressured the quarterback and shut down any attempts to gain yardage on the ground. Teamwork and communication were key, as the defense worked together to keep the opposition from gaining any momentum throughout the game.

With this commanding win to start the season, the Nouvel 5th grade team is looking strong as they prepare for their next game against Midstate on 9/14 at 10:00 AM. If this performance is any indication, the team’s combination of strong fundamentals, stellar coaching, and standout talent could lead to a very successful season ahead.
