Makeup Looks to Match your Prom Dress

So you have picked you dress and now you have to think about what you makeup will look like. You want your makeup and accessories to go with your dress. So here are some tips on what you should do.

Black- Gold  goes with black perfectly and is a good pop of color. For makeup do a natural transition color and do a cut crease and add some gold on the inner corner. Try to keep it light because you already have a dark color. Make sure you add some life back to your face. If you are wearing accessories you should do mainly gold have your shoes, and jewelry be gold with had jewels.

White- Natural with a pop of color rose gold. When you do white think light dark colors will clash with the white. Rose gold is the best because, it’s easy to find jewelry that are rose gold and gives a beautiful pop do rose gold shoes too. For makeup do campaign and taupe color  with a eye fluttering wings. You can do either a nude or red lip for some color. For hair accessories something delicate goes really well with white because it won’t clash but, it will still make the look more dressy.

Grey- Mauve and silver a mauve eye look is a nice pop and grey and mauve go really nice together. Go simple with the lip.  Silver accessories are good because, they are easy to find and tend to go good together.

Red- Brown having a red dress is already dramatic. So having a natural look with a bold wing is a ice pop. Either gold or silver accessories are some good colors that aren’t to bold.

Blue/Green- dark brown and silver with a pop of blue. This pops of color lighten the look and makes it so your look goes better with you dress. Have your shoes and jewelry be silver.

Purple – brown with a pop of purple or champagne add in some rose gold into the look. It gives a pop of color without clashing.

Pink-Natural  I don’t recommend doing a pop of pink in your eye because, it might look like pink eye. Do a natural eye look and add in gold or rose gold.
